What Is Covered?
Subject to the terms and conditions of the warranty agreement, coverage includes eligible manufacturing defects such as:
- Structural failure of cabinet components
- Manufacturing defects in drawer fronts and doors
- Hardware failures including hinges and drawer slides
- Finish defects such as peeling or cracking not caused by environmental conditions
- Porcelain sink manufacturing defects
- Coverage applies strictly to manufacturing defects under normal residential use.
What Is Not Covered?
The Signature Protection Plan does not cover:
- Improper installation
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Plumbing leaks or connection failures
- Flooding, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, fires, or other natural disasters
- Acts of God and force majeure events
- War, terrorism, civil unrest, military actions, or government actions
- Excessive humidity or water exposure
- Scratches, dents, stains, chips, or normal wear and tear
- Fading from sunlight or UV exposure
- Rental, Airbnb, commercial, or income-generating properties
Important: The Signature Protection Plan covers manufacturing defects only. Damage resulting from war, terrorism, natural disasters, acts of God, flooding, fire, or other events beyond normal residential use is not covered.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for coverage:
- You must be the original purchaser
- The vanity must remain installed at the original installation address
- The product must be used in a normal owner-occupied residential property
- The Protection Plan must be purchased within 12 months of the original purchase date
- Professional installation by a licensed contractor or plumbing professional is required
- Proof of installation may be requested during a claim review.
How Claims Work
If a covered defect occurs:
Contact Ikou Customer Support
Submit proof of purchase and protection plan confirmation
Provide photographs and a description of the issue
Our team will review the claim and determine the appropriate resolution
Depending on the situation, Ikou may:
- Repair the affected component
- Provide replacement parts
- Replace the vanity with the same or a comparable model
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your Protection Plan within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, provided no claim has been submitted.
After 30 days, the Protection Plan becomes non-refundable.
